Of course I had to follow the advice on the site TVWB and make a log of the cook. Here it is:

The ham and my newly bought Australian "Heat beads" (briquettes).

Hampus is ready to do some serious smokin'.

Initial assembly.

Look at them go! The electrical starter is doing its part of the Magic.

The Magic has started.

Before adding of the ham.

Ham added. Prepped with two thermometers. Just to be sure...

Ham again.

Now it's puffin' away!

Four hours, thirty minutes later, this is what's happened.

The pretty side.

The fatty side with most of the fat removed.

Red hot chili glaze.

Glacing with the grill in the oven.

Done diddely done!

Ah, look at that!

Malin is hungry by now.

My parents and my sister arrived when the ham was ready for testing.

Ham and white bread.
